Tomorrow night ERISTOFF take to Vauxhall’s Hidden nightclub to present Freakout, a one-off night of tunes, complementary drinks and pre-Christmas merriment to get you set for the festive season!

On the decks are none other than Urban Nerds selectors Rattus and Klose, who’ll be providing an eclectic soundtrack of dubstep, uk bass, electro and deeper UK 4×4 inspired beats for the night!

ERISTOFF will be serving complementary drinks from 7pm-8pm and entry is free on the guest list. Join us for after work drinks and let’s brighten up Tuesday with some midweek party vibes!

A few weeks ago we announced the arrival of limited edition, high-end label and print house, For Love & Money. Now, to mark the arrival of their online store, the FLAM crew are taking to The Macbeth (home to Urban Nerds House Party) with a big mid-week line-up of underground talent.

Marking the launch of the new store which has landed with the first in their range of hand screen-printed pieces, the FLAM crew have teamed up with Boom Nails to offer-up one-of-a-kind nail creations, free For Love & Money Cupcakes and most of all a big list of dubstep, garage and grime cohorts to see in Wednesday night the right way! Plus, entry will cost you £0!

Urban Nerds fam the True Tiger collective are joined by Rattus, Klose and OverProof resident and hip-hop don, Motive. Big bass exponent Sai from Wobble Squad is also in the building and expect live PAs from Mikill Payne and rapper Richard Abiade, the mad talented spitter who’s opened for the likes of Bruno Mars, Mike Posner, Skepta, Akala and many more! In preparation for the enormous SOCIETY, Raindance and Jenkins Lane event TONIGHT that sees these three stalwarts of rave join forces to takeover the warehouse-like Electrowerkz complex in Angel, Urban Nerds’ Rattus Rattus has compiled a truly special classic acid house mix, ahead of his set tonight in the 86′ – 92′ Pioneers room!

With four rooms of 1986-1993 inspired musical greatness, tonight’s rave promises a true revival and an inspiring combination of legendary names such as Trevor Fung, Kenny Ken and Jumpin’ Jack Frost, join forces with today’s new wave of underground leaders, including Nerds favourite and Numbers label boss, Jackmaster, East London garage revivalists, Wifey and of course our very own Rattus.

Unbeknown to many, Rattus’ vast record collection encompasses a huge spectrum of classic dance sounds and we’re ecstatic that the undercover acid fan has a chance to showcase his love for the sound tonight and the genre that gave birth to the likes of jungle, drum & bass and eventually its latest incarnation in the many forms of bass today.

The 5th and final mix in our series of Urban Nerds 4th Birthday bangers comes from original Urban Nerds resident and supporter of all things bass, Rattus Rattus, as he gears up for a mammoth set at Scala with partner in crime, Klose One!

Since joining the Nerds crew way back when in 2007, Rattus has developed a distinct, no-limits and genre crossing style of mash-up party sounds, with a healthy injection of bass. Whether dubstep, electro, garage, grime or funky, he always hits the spot with a unique style that’s been known to encompass rare samples, the odd indie anthem, deeper, darker beats and of course a trademark Prodigy drop here and there!

This bass explosion has seen him take to the decks for some of the UK’s biggest underground promoters, with regular appearances for the likes of Bigger Than Barry, Under The Radar, Vagazbondz and Reclaim The Dancefloor, in a slew of world-class clubs such as Fabric, Matter, Sankeys, Motion and Ministry of Sound. Moving cross-country, Rattus has also touched the White Isle, with various Ibiza sets, plus European excursions to Snowbombing, Outlook Festival, Rumble Festival and beyond. With highlights that include the mighty Glastonbury, Ibiza pool parties and epic warehouse madness from Nerds and Bigger Than Barry, Ratty has most definitely landed on the bass circuit!

To celebrate this journey and of course our 4th Birthday, this ‘Way Back Then’ mix looks to some of the biggest rave starters that have kicked-off at Urban Nerds throughout the past 4 years, with Rattus reaching for dubstep classics from the likes of Rusko, Skream, Benga, Caspa, Cotti and Coki and going further back to timeless garage anthems. There’s also a healthy dose of grime, with some of our favourite producers and MCs.

You can catch the Urban Nerds DJ squad at Street Fest on Saturday 29th May, alongside Marcus Nasty, Motive, Ghostpoet, The Nextmen and recent grime chart success story, Wretch 32! This sick Sunday event takes place in one of our favourite Shoreditch warehouse spots, The Hearn Street Car Park, where Hearn Street itself will also be blocked off for that proper street party vibe! As well as the tunes, there’s showcases from some of the top skaters and breakers in the country, live graffiti and a huge range of underground streetwear labels setting up stands so you can get hold of a few exclusive garms while you’re at it! This Saturday Marcus Nasty takes over room 2 for Urban Nerds at XOYO, presenting his favourite underground talent from the realms of UK funky, grime and garage, with the likes of garage scene legend, Scott Garcia! To get things warmed up, on Wednesday 16th March Marcus put together a very special extended edition of his weekly Rinse FM show, with 4 hours of ‘Marcus Nasty Presents’ showcasing some of the sick DJ talent that’ll be hitting XOYO!

Urban Nerds residents Rattus Rattus & Klose One were representing with a very sick guest mix on the show alongside more goodness from Scott Garcia, Sunday Roast & Jook 10, Weeksy, Reepo & Jay Rusto and the mighty Maxwell D! Playing for half an hour each, Klose went in deep with a house and funky led assault, including some crazy edits and remixes that got the studio skanking! Rattus follows with an eclectic bass mash-up of bone-shakers and watch out for the guest vocals from Saturday’s special guest Maxwell D, who jumps on to host the set!
