This year the Urban Nerds have teamed up with leading fashion and music magazine RWD for their annual Christmas knees up. We return once again to The Macbeth with a special 4am licence to ensure the party goes off in style. This year we have BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s main man MISTAJAM headlining the party who will be bringing his classic blend of party tunes combined with dubstep, grime, garage and all things bass. Next up is MARCUS NASTY with MCs RANKIN & SHANTIE who will get the party bubbling with the UK funky selection, not forgetting Urban Nerds unstoppable duo RATTUS RATTUS & KLOSE ONE who always have that something special tucked up their sleeves. Representing the RWD team is original don DJ CHEWY who will be bringing the garage flavours to keep the crowd lively. Last up are FIDDY & COLLINS two of the underground music scenes most reputable journalists who will be taking to the wheels of steel to supply the party with their wealth of musical knowledge. Time to draw for the champagne, it’s party time!

On Sunday number one Urban Nerds spinners Rattus Rattus and Klose One raised the bar with a stupidly sick guest mix featured on Redlight’s ‘In New DJs We Trust’ BBC 1Xtra show! The exclusive bass heavy mix is seriously worth a listen, crossing dubstep, electro and funky with everything from drum & bass to jungle…taking the Urban Nerds mash-up sound to the airwaves! Big up, Klose, Ratty…you lot killed it! The mix aired this Sunday night and a segment was repeated by Mistajam on Monday.
