Our NYE party cohorts, London’s finest graffiti crew and long time Nerds family tree, ATG are back on the East London party circuit with another massive DO ONE mash-up this month at the Gramaphone, Shoreditch! Nerds crew will be reppin’ ARD as always, make sure you get involved…
If you don’t know about ATG’s Do-One night yet (the very same gangsters we teamed-up with for the biggest NYE rave in town)…then you should probably DO ONE! Here’s a taster of the sick Do-One anthem, produced by RackNRuin and vocaled by ATG and Nerds resident Illaman alongside the dirty flirt, Flirta D. Make sure you hit the next Do-One on February 6th at Gramaphone, Shoreditch to hear ‘em smash it live…
On Saturday 12th December, Hyponik’s Hyp!Hyp!Hyp! night resumes its new residency at Plan B for some 1st Birthday bigness with a cutting edge line-up boasting some of the finest selectors on the London underground circuit playing alongside garage & bass producer extraordinaire, the one and only MJ Cole!
After a year pushing the best of the best in dubstep, garage, UK Funky, electro and the rest, this time the hype is really on as UK Bass dons Brackles, Bok Bok, Ben UFO, Tomb Crew and Shortstuff are just a handful of the DJs on side to keep you going into the early hours, plus Dirty Canvas Boys Magic and Reecha are around with the freshest grime and funky in town!
And of course what party would a party without the Nerds on hand to get you through the night? Rattus Rattus and Klose One play b2b with their usual mega mash-up while Illaman takes pride of place behind the mic to host the night’s proceedings with Asbo. This is one our favourite line-ups of the year and is not to be missed!
Saturday 12th December 9pm-6am @ Plan B, 418 Brixton Road, London, SW9 7AY
£10 on the door or grab a £6 early bird / £8 advance ticket from Ticketweb here
Urban Nerds & ATG frontline MC Illaman is back on form with some of his trademark dark & dirty vocals over The Illness, the latest release from top breaks boys The Equalizers & The Magnet Men. With radio plays all over the shop on the likes of Radio 1 and Kiss 100, this is definitely one to watch. Now Noisses takes it to the next level with a gut wobbling dubstep re-fix that’s climbed its way to the top of Trackitdown dubstep chart! Go support and part with a meager £1.49 to cop the rude Noisses remix here. Snap up the original on vinyl from Chemical Records.
