What’s the one highlight of bank holiday weekend (other than Nerds’ massive Carnival Warm Up)? Easy…Notting Hill Carnival itself but in particular, Red Bull Music Academy’s massive annual onslaught under the Westway hosted by the mighty Major Lazer! This year’s hugely anticipated Major Lazer Carnival party once again sold out in record time but have no fear, Urban Nerds have a pair of tickets to give away…enter fast, these are like gold dust!

Returning to the Westway’s outdoor-warehouse like underbelly this year, Major Lazer’s Diplo and Switch will be joined by Black Chiney and Dillon Francis on a back-to-back mash-up with huge house, electro and bass exponent, Brodinski. The Nerds crew are particularly hyped for Oneman b2b Jackmaster, a partnership behind the decks that never fails to dissapoint (we’ve got our fingers crossed for some of their epic classic garage drops). Dubstep queen Kito and Lunice are also on hand, plus a slew of special guests including an enormous headline that we wish we could announce had the Academy not sworn us to secrecy! As ever, food and booze are taken care of thanks to the good folks at the Red Bull Music Academy.
